This project involved the complete transformation of a large but impractical back garden that was dominated by a poorly designed all-weather enclosure at the rear of the plot. The structure had become damp, dark, and uninviting, significantly limiting the usability and enjoyment of the garden as a whole.

The redesign removed the visual and physical weight of the existing structure and reimagined the space as a light, airy, and welcoming garden suitable for year-round use. The new layout introduces raised planting beds to add structure, improve drainage, and create clear zones within the garden, alongside two generous patio areas designed for both relaxation and entertaining.

Pod swing adds a sense of playfulness and comfort, while carefully selected evergreen planting provides year-round interest, privacy, and a calm, cohesive backdrop. The result is a bright, open garden that feels spacious, functional, and inviting, transforming an underused area into a versatile outdoor living space.
