This garden design in Hanwell transformed a previously overgrown and unsafe space into a calm, elegant and fully usable suburban garden with design tailored for an elderly client with limited mobility in typical West London garden with changing levels. Accessibility was central to the design.

All mature planting was carefully preserved, maintaining the garden’s established character while introducing a refined, structured layout and timeless material palette. The result is a lush, sophisticated setting that feels both natural and beautifully composed.

Durable limestone paving is paired with handcrafted clay brick detailing and vertical oak elements, adding warmth, texture and architectural interest while ensuring the garden will age gracefully.

This project showcases thoughtful accessible garden design and sensitive Hanwell landscaping, blending mature greenery with timeless materials to create a serene and enduring retreat.
